Family's Visit

The last ten days have been busy with family who came to visit.  Blaine's mom, sister and nephew arrived on the 18th and left on the 27.  We've been blessed to have various family come to visit and it's fun to show them around.
Welcoming mom!
They look pretty good for such a long flight and they were 3 hours late taking off from Vancouver too!
Victoria Peak.  This is on the island looking over to the Kowloon side.  We live to the left of that faint orange blob in the distance. (a little to the left of the middle)

The Star Ferry that goes between Kowloon and the island.

Kind of a cool boat.  Never seen it before.
Waiting for the Star Ferry.
Keegan at the beach.  These next pictures are all at the Gold Coast.  Ryan and Jill had a barbecue on the beach one day.

Benjie and Hunter.

This book is our must have to get around book.   It tells all the bus routes!!
Grampa and his boys!
Trying to get three great grandchildren to look in the same direction is like herding cats!
Missing one!
Finally all together and looking sort of in the same direction!!
Shopping at Stanley Market.
Supper at home!
The next three are all in Stanley Market.

All together at California Pizza in TST.
Stanley is a beautiful beach area on the far side of the island.  There are lots of x-pats there, and has kind of a European feel to it.
Stopping for pizza in Wan Chai.
Visiting the Dr. Sun Yet San Museum.
Pit stop at the Peak.
Heading home on the Star Ferry.
Grandpa teaching Rachel a game.  We're thankful everyone got home safe and sound.  Today we are at a Typhoon 3 and it's grey and rainy so no much going on today.  Thanks for the visit!
